BALDING

TO CUT OR NOT TO CUT?

WHAT IS THE RULE OF THUMB?

Generally the rule for density treatments concerning balding is as long as there is enough hair to create a seamless blend, cutting is not required. However, if there is a bald spot that is too large to cover, then cutting the hair down to zero with no guard is required. When deciding between thinning or balding, we observe how much skin is showing in between follicles. If the hair is already cut short, we will cut down to the skin to ensure an even blend.
